collaboration between ABS, Princess Sumaya University for Technology and Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship

As part of the ongoing collaboration between ABS, Princess Sumaya University for Technology and Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship, the first of a two part course on entrepreneurship was offered to our grade 11 and 12 students in the IB College on Saturday December 3rd. The training was based on lean start-up concepts and business planning with an emphasis on engineering topics and guided participants to research challenges and utilize tools to develop solutions or campaigns.

Part two will take place next Saturday and the outcome will be the submission of a business model and an understanding of how best to pitch ideas. The 20 students involved thoroughly enjoyed their experience and are looking forward to next week’s session.

Heartfelt thanks to Ms Ruwan Batarseh who arranged the whole event, Ms Suha Nashif for lending her time and support and a very special thank you to Mr Mohammad Obeidat who shared his expertise by running the course.
